Rwandan coffee is cultivated in the western and central portions of the country. The Gitesi Cooperative is located in a valley in the west, near the shores of Lake Kivu. The coop site sits at 1740 meters, one of low areas surrounded by high ridges reaching an upwards of 2000 meters, where the coffee is grown. This lot is made up of a hand selected combination of the best of the arriving day lots. This graceful coffee presents orange blossom and violet floral aromatics with refined flavors of mandarin orange, currant and melon rind.
