The Herrera family has owned Finca Potrero for four generations, spanning more than a century. Four siblings now own and operate the original estate, which has been divided into separate parcels. Carlos named his parcel “Cubito” after a natural spring that flows on the land, allowing his Bourbon and Caturra trees to thrive in the rich, alluvial soil. Last year we offered the B300 as its own separate lot, but this year we blended the excellent Bourbon and B300 varieties together as both were excellent on the cupping table but only available in small quantities.
