In 1958, Dr. Jorge Vides and his family purchased land near a small town called La Libertad where the ideal amount of rainfall and a crisp, dry wind create the perfect conditions for producing coffee. This farm, known as La Bolsa, is now run by Dr. Vides’ daughter, Maria Elena Vides de Ovalle and her son Renardo Ovalle. They handle most steps of coffee production on the farm, where their careful attention yields an incredible cup.
