This coffee comes from Julio César’s high-elevation farm that he planted with Caturra and Colombia, varieties well known for producing quality coffee at altitude. He also choose these varieties because they are resistant to rust, a fungal disease that has greatly affected coffee growing areas. This resulting coffee is incredibly lively, with dense tropical flavors and an unrefined sugar finish.
