    In 2019 we visited the Ojojona region of Honduras for the first time. Don Jose graciously hosted us alongside like-minded producers in the area who knew they were growing excellent coffee but were only receiving bare minimum prices from local buyers. After cupping dozens of offers from the region we agreed and began sourcing coffees from his cohort. For the first year, we're offering Don Jose's coffee as a single origin offering on our menu. This coffee displays strawberry juiciness and a fig sweetness.

      My first order with Sightglass

      I am very happy with my order of Honduras, Finca Bella Vista, Jose

      Antonio Diaz. I don't like coffee that is really acidic and this coffee

      is so delicious and smooth. A joy to drink. I will definitely order this

      coffee again.

      Morning delight

      This stuff is delicious. Fruity, sweet, light and somehow still robust enough. I hate waking up every morning but this helps.

    How many cups of coffee are in a bag?

    Using the recipe that we use in-store, each 12oz bag makes 17 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in two weeks or for a pair of coffee drinkers to enjoy in a week. 

    Each 2LB bag makes 45 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 3 weeks or for two people to enjoy in a week and a half


    Each 5LB bag makes 113 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 8 weeks or for two people to enjoy in a month

    How long does Sightglass coffee stay fresh?

    Sightglass coffee tastes best up to six weeks after the roast date printed on the back of the sealed bag. Once opened, we recommend you use the coffee within two weeks for optimal freshness. Coffee will taste best when ground immediately before brewing.
