Seasonally VaryingA seasonally rotating blend of fully washed Central and South American coffees sourced for their deep, full-bodied sweetness, attributes which respond beautifully to a more robust roast. Our Banner Dark Blend is meant to appeal to those who enjoy a deeper, richer flavor. Dark chocolate and brown sugar meet rich undertones of vanilla and maple, with a heavier body and lower acidity in the cup.

Is Sightglass coffee organic?
Most of the coffee that we source annually is certified Organic. These coffees go into classic blends like Blueboon, Toketee, Owl's Howl, Crown Point, and Hunky Dory. On our single origin menu, Worka Chelbessa from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia is certified Organic. We purchase other single origin coffees yearly with Organic certifications but are often sold as conventional coffees.
How many cups of coffee are in a bag?
Using the recipe that we use in-store, each 12oz bag makes 17 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in two weeks or for a pair of coffee drinkers to enjoy in a week.
Each 2LB bag makes 45 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 3 weeks for two people
Each 5LB bag makes 113 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 8 weeks for two people
How long does Sightglass coffee stay fresh?
In an unopened bag, our coffee stays fresh for up to 90 days after roasting. Once opened, we recommend that the coffee be consumed within three weeks. Many of our Single Origin coffees taste best at least three to four days after roasting and our espresso roasts are at their best with at least a week of rest.
