While sourcing green coffee from all over the world, we’ve often come across very small lots of truly gorgeous coffees that, if we had a venue for them, we would love to purchase and work with. 20th Street gave us that venue.
We source small lots specifically for 20th Street, roasted in Stargazer, our beautiful 1969 5-kilo Probat roaster. These are featured as single origin drip coffees on our pour-over bar, as well as the components in Jerboa’s Jump.
The Jerboa’s Jump blend comprises two remarkable stand-alone single origin coffees, one from East Africa and one from Latin America. The coffees we source from these regions tend to be big in flavor, juiciness, clarity, with clean texture and a lasting finish. While Jerboa’s Jump isn’t built on the classic Italian espresso model, the flavors work together harmoniously. Approachable, yet refined and complex, you’ll find flavors of chocolate-covered orange and lush, tropical fruits that elegantly and effortlessly pair with milk.
