Roberto came to coffee production later in life and has been producing coffee for 15 years now. When he purchased his farm, he didn’t intend to produce coffee at first, but he noticed coffee shrubs growing among the flora and decided to cultivate from seed. Soon he discovered the economic value of producing this crop and now he has 4 hectares dedicated to producing coffee. Roberto considers himself a fighter and a go-getter, and wants nothing more than to be recognized internationally for the quality of his work. Growing his coffee within the protected Alto Mayo rain forest, he manages his farm organically and with special care to the abundant native species that call his farm home.
