Wilmer’s farm, Finca El Sauce, is named for the willow trees growing throughout his property that provide ample shade for his coffee plants. This is his second year working with a new cooperative that focuses primarily on obtaining better prices for coffee through improving coffee quality. Wilmer practices organic farming methods and has taken steps to improve his production practices and equipment since joining the cooperative. This is our first year sourcing his coffee and we look forward to seeing the effect of his continued investments as a producer.
