Orders placed before 1:00 PM PST on Sunday through Thursday - processed the same day and roasted the following day. 

Orders placed after 1:00 PM PST on Thursday - processed on Friday - roasted on Monday.

Orders placed between 1:00 PM PST Friday and 1:00 PM PST Sunday - processed on Sunday and roasted on Monday.

    Insanely Beautiful

    Sometimes single origins can be disappointing for me. But I opened this bag this a.m. and the first cup I brewed in my V60 was spot on. It hits with floral, bright clarity, and a full juicy mouth feel. These are my favorite coffee qualities in a pour over.

    I recently watched one of James Hoffman's latest videos on You-Tube where he describes the emotional aspect of a great cup of coffee--sadness and anticipation. That was me this morning when I finished this-- sad that the poetry was over so quickly, and anticipating the enjoyment of many mornings ahead.

    Made me happy to drink coffee again

    Strong peachy flavor up front with tobacco notes on the back end, and an aftertaste that hints of dry red wine. Brighter and more complex than a lot of single origins I’ve tried. Goes best with your favorite ‘cream’, in this heathen’s opinion.

    I really enjoy the fullest taste of Chelbessa Yirgacheff!

    I used to drink Intelligentsia coffee but now I switched to Sightglass coffee~

    Well-balanced favor

    This is my go-to coffee bean. It is very well-balanced, not too light or bold. I think this coffee appeals to a wide range of coffee lovers, and would recommend starting your coffee exploration with this one.

How many cups of coffee are in a bag?

Using the recipe that we use in-store, each 12oz bag makes 17 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in two weeks or for a pair of coffee drinkers to enjoy in a week. 

Each 2LB bag makes 45 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 3 weeks or for two people to enjoy in a week and a half


Each 5LB bag makes 113 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 8 weeks or for two people to enjoy in a month

How long does Sightglass coffee stay fresh?

Sightglass coffee tastes best up to six weeks after the roast date printed on the back of the sealed bag. Once opened, we recommend you use the coffee within two weeks for optimal freshness. Coffee will taste best when ground immediately before brewing.
