High in the mountains near the town of Beshasha, Musa operates his own farm at the edge of a forest. Single farmer lots are incredily rare to find in Ethiopia, especially fully-washed lots like this limited release. In addition to his own farm, Musa also buys coffee from about a dozen farmers. Musa first started producing washed coffees in 2006 after winning a prize from the African Fine Coffees Association when he received a depulper and some funds that he used to expand his farm. Since 2016, he has been exporting his own coffees and certified his farm as fully organic.

      more reserved, but beautiful

White I do not at present have specific words for the different flavours that I tasted in this coffee, I can say that it was more reserved than the Worka Chelbessa, Yirgacheffe that I usually drink, but it is still beautiful, light in taste but with a superbly compact darkish sense in the middle. Obviously, loved it..

      Lovely

Really nicely balanced for an Ethiopian Coffee. It gives you a little of that earthy flavor on the nose which I love from an Ethiopian coffee. A little acidity but not as much as other Ethiopian coffees. Overall sweet and yummy. I got the Kenya coffee at the same time which is great too and the Musa Abalulesa just gives you a little something extra on the flavor profile. Delicious.
