Fast forward many years and I’ve been having Owls Howl delivered every four weeks for the past several years. It’s always consistent, easy to work with, and very tasty in milk as well as on its own. I am loving Owl's Howl so far! After trying Sightglass during a trip to SF, I ordered 2lbs of beans. I appreciate that they were roasted right after I ordered, and the freshness is definitely noticeable. They grind really well and dialing in my espresso shots was ridiculously easy. I find the hints of cacao to be most noticeable and really enjoyable, but the fruity notes offer a really wonderful balance of flavors. Would definitely recommend, and would not recommend a small bag - you'll run out sooner rather than later!

Owl's Howl is just about perfect for a traditional espresso flavor profile. There's not much else to say. It's rich, nuanced, chocolatey, nutty, and floral in perfect harmony. Plus, it has a crema level that is always just right. It's hard to think of any way they could make this product better (without putting it on sale!)

How is Sightglass coffee sourced?

How long does Sightglass coffee stay fresh?
Sightglass coffee tastes best up to six weeks after the roast date printed on the back of the sealed bag. Once opened, we recommend you use the coffee within two weeks for optimal freshness. Coffee will taste best when ground immediately before brewing.
How many cups of coffee are in a bag?
Using the recipe that we use in-store, each 12oz bag makes 17 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in two weeks or for a pair of coffee drinkers to enjoy in a week.
Each 2LB bag makes 45 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 3 weeks for two people
Each 5LB bag makes 113 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 8 weeks for two people
