To fans of Ethiopian coffee the Yukro cooperative needs no introduction. We have been buying coffees from the Yukro cooperative for over a decade and each year we are always impressed by their floral and fruited coffees. Established in 1977 and working with native varieties of coffee, Yurko has benefited from joining the Kata Muduga Union to develop and refine their washed coffee processes in the past few years. Although we typically buy large quantities of our favorite Ethiopian coffees, this selection was limited in size and will likely only be available through the end of September.

    a great stand in

we usually go for the chelbessa, yirgacheffe, but since that one was out for a while we decided to try this one - we've been happily drinking it for about a month now and love it!

Great but not quite as great as the Nano Genji, Agaro

We're big fans of Ethiopian coffees, especially the medium light roast that Sightglass does. Their latest, the Youkro, Agaro, is excellent, although it has a slightly stronger after-taste than their previous iteration, the Nano Genjo, Agaro. That being said, it's well above most coffee roasts and we will continue ordering it. It's curious how two coffees, both grown in the Agaro region, are so close, but still different.

    Delicious

Yukro, Agaro is one of my favorite coffees because of its beautiful aromatics, delicious flavors and delightful finish.

Long a fan of Ethiopian coffees, I find this one perfectly roasted for Cappuccino and pure enjoyment.
