Honoring Patricia King 

In the spirit of generosity, throughout the first week of sales, 100% of the proceeds from each 12 oz bag of Winter Solstice will be donated to the nonprofit organization, For the Love of Alex, as a tribute to the memory of Patricia King. For the Love of Alex is a charity that funds emergency and life-saving veterinary care for pets of low-income households. 

Winter Solstice was her favorite of our coffees. To her, it represented the coming of the holidays, which meant sharing time with friends and loved ones.  As we release our 2023 edition we can’t help but to think of Patricia and are proud to honor her through donating to a cause that she cared deeply about.

We had the pleasure of knowing and working with Patricia. She was a role model of grace and kindness and represented the best of Sightglass. We will remember Patricia as an extraordinary woman who loved life, was passionate about her work, and always saw the best in people. 

Although we will miss her leadership and collaboration, the legacy of Patricia King will continue to shine brightly at Sightglass.
